Herbal Medicine and Nutrition

  • I craft custom herbal blends, supplements, & dietary recommendations based on your unique constitution, condition, & health goals.

  • Herbs can come in many forms, including, but not limited to: tinctures, capsules, powders, raw herbs, decoctions, foods, teas & elixirs. They may even come wrapped in chocolate!

  • Good health begins in the gut. When it comes to nutrition (or anything for that matter), Chinese Medicine does not prescribe a one-sized fits all approach (we are all unique beings and what works for one does not always work for another). In general, we will all feel our best when we consume foods that are locally and regeneratively grown in any given season, and shift our diets according to changes in our environment and our bodies. I can help you create & implement a personalized diet that promotes health & happiness from season to season!

psychospiritual Embodiment Coaching

In a culture of duality, we learn to dis-integrate our being into minds, bodies, and spirits operating independently of one another, when in truth these facets of our self are as intimately connected as the colors of a rainbow or the fibers of a web. In our time together, we will explore the connections between your physical, mental-emotional, and spiritual health, reawakening and establishing a fully integrated state of well-being, constancy, and sense of self in the body that can lead to a transformation of consciousness at the core of your being.

Our bodies are beautiful vehicles for anchoring and animating our energetic, emotional and psychospiritual experience, yet in our forgetting of this truth we are liable to use them unwittingly as storehouses for unprocessed trauma, which eventually manifests as unpleasant or life-threatening dis-ease and dis-order. I view symptoms as the body’s generous attempt to communicate imbalance and the need for change on one or more levels.

I utilize a a variety of tools, including, but not limited to the modalities of Integrative Body Psychotherapy, meditation/visualization, breathwork/movement, acupressure, and nature-based practices, to help you break through old, somatically-maintained dysfunctional behavior patterns and cultivate greater vitality, freedom, empowerment, and purpose. For optimal results, a minimum of 6-12 weekly sessions is highly suggested, but not required.

Integrative Body Psychotherapy (IBP):

IBP is “a non-invasive somatic psychotherapy that treats the whole person, integrating body, mind, emotions, and spirit, that can facilitate deeper more meaningful work in less time with lasting results. IBP integrates the best approaches from Eastern and Western psychological, physiological and spiritual body-mind theories and practices into a highly efficient and effective somatic implementation model for psychotherapy.

IBP experiential practices help to break through old, somatically-maintained dysfunctional behavior patterns by reawakening and establishing fully integrated states of well-being, constancy and sense of self in the body that can lead to a transformation of consciousness at the core of one’s being.”

Meditation, Visualization, & Breathwork PRactices

Incorporated into our sessions & taken into your daily routine, these practices can help to attune mind-body-spirit, and calm, clear, and enliven your true essence.
